Thomas I. Barrows

Thomas I. Barrows (Tom) was born in Gainesville, Florida, in 1949. He was admitted to the Bar of North Carolina in 1975, to the Bar of Maryland in 1982, and the Bar of Delaware in 1984.

Mr. Barrows received his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1975. While in law school, Mr. Barrows was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Mr. Barrows served as Assistant District Attorney for the 25th Judicial District of North Carolina between October of 1975 and December of 1982, where he spent all of his time in the courtroom prosecuting criminal defendants. From January of 1983 through February of 1984, Mr. Barrows was a partner in the Hickory, North Carolina law firm of Barrows, Hannah, and Greene. In February of 1984, he relocated to Dover, Delaware where he served as the Clerk of the Supreme Court of Delaware between June 1984 and June 1985.

In June of 1985, Mr. Barrows joined the law firm of Hudson, Jones, Jaywork & Fisher and in January of 1989, became a full partner.

He is a member of the Kent County Bar Association (President, 1991-1992), the Delaware State Bar Association, and the Delaware State Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Barrows practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, automobile personal injury, premises liability, and landlord/tenant law.
