Seth L. Thompson
Seth L. Thompson was born in the fall of our nation's bicentennial in Charlottesville, Virginia, as the second of three children of an Army JAG officer and his wife, both originally from Philadelphia. After graduating from Emmaus High School in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley, Seth matriculated at Penn State, where he studied History and graduated with distinction in 1999. He subsequently attended Temple Law School, graduating in 2003 as a Dean's List student.
During law school, Seth completed the Delaware Attorney General's Office summer program, served on the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal's editorial board, and participated in Temple's Federal Judicial Clerkship Clinical, for which he was selected by the Honorable Clifford Scott Green of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Following law school, Seth served for a year as Law Clerk to the Honorable Barbara D. Crowell and the Honorable Aida Waserstein, both Family Court Judges in New Castle County. Seth then clerked for a year in the Sussex County Family Court for the Honorable Kenneth M. Millman, the Honorable Peter B. Jones, and the Honorable John E. Henriksen.
Having joined the firm of Hudson, Jones, Jaywork & Fisher in September 2005, Seth focuses his practice on family law, civil litigation, and criminal defense. He was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 2004, followed by admission to the Delaware Bar in 2005.
A Rehoboth Beach resident, Seth is a nature enthusiast, sports fan, Eagle Scout, and six-time uncle.
