Adam Perza
Adam Perza is a lifelong Dover resident and Caesar Rodney High School graduate. He holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Delaware and Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to law school, Adam was an environmental engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District assigned to Superfund environmental remediation projects in Vineland, New Jersey, and the construction management resident office at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware.
Adam has been an associate attorney at Hudson Jones Jaywork & Fisher since 2003. His civil practice focuses on preparing restaurant and retail liquor licenses for the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, residential and commercial real estate, landlord tenant litigation in the Justice of the Peace Court, and small business transactions such as the purchase and sale of local business establishments and the formation of Delaware limited liability companies to assist with personal asset protection. Adam has an active criminal defense practice centered in the Court of Common Pleas. Prior to his association with the firm, Adam was law clerk to Superior Court Judge James T. Vaughn Jr. during the 2002-03 court term. Adam was admitted to the Delaware Bar in 2002, and the U.S. District Court for Delaware in 2003.
Adam is a member of the Delaware Bar Association, Kent County Bar Association, Terry-Carey American Inn of Court, and the Society of American Military Engineers. In the Dover community he is an active member of Holy Cross Parish where he is the Executive Officer of the parish council, and is a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus.
